Parent/Teacher Appointments We would like to ask parents not to "pop In" without an appointment to see teachers at the end of the day. This is a very busy time for staff and students (homeroom period - agenda check, extra-cirricular practices/games/rehersals. etc.) and not a good time for unscheduled parent visits. We encourage all parents/guardians to meet with their child(ren)'s teachers if they have any questions/concerns, but stress the importance of always phoning the school (or emailing your child's teacher) to schedule an appointment. Notice to parents that drop their children off at school and/or pick them up! We now have 2 busses to pick up and drop off students. The Bus Garage and drivers need parents to STAY OUT OF THE BUS LANE between 8:30 and 8:50 am and from 2:15 to 2:45 pm in the afternoon. If you are picking up and/or dropping off your child(ren) @ school YOU MUST PARK ON TANNERY ROAD, KNICKLE ROAD, OR THE NEW SOCCER FIELD PARKING LOT. YOU CANNONT PARK IN THE BUS LANE (DRIVE WAY LOOP IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL) ANY LONGER DUE TO SCHOOL BUS SAFETY CONCERNS.-------------------------------------------------- LJHS Student Dress Guidelines (Grades 6 – 9): a) Shorts should have a minimum inseam of nine (9) centimeters. b) Shorts, skirts, jeans, sweat pants and tops should be worn so that undergarments are not visible. c) Tops should cover cleavage and undergarments.
